    DN Deluxe seam

I bought a DN Deluxe recently. Got home today and set it up, and it has a seam of center in it. I found it annoying, and guess I'll exchang it for a regular DN.

I bought this one to use in the yard, when were trailer camping, and for my wife on the rare occasion she comes out on an overnight hike.

She didn't seem to mind it today laying in the hammock for a brief period. But I don't like it.

Does any else have a probably with the seam?

I may play with it a little more, it will be a 10 days before I end up back close to an REI to return it.

I haven't teid the DN deluxe but when I tries a SN I found the seam of the "wing" to catch my shoulder and found it annoying. I have an ENO DN and like having no seams under me.

I've been sleeping in an ENO Doublenest Deluxe every night for several months now, and I don't mind the seam, personally. I hang mine with quite a bit of slack... I can see how hanging it tighter would make the seam more of an issue. For me, I'd rather have the extra width of the Deluxe, although I can see how it's not for everybody.

The seam is gone.. They heard us out and no longer have the seam. I talked to the company and ordered 2 doublenest deluxes; no seam in either..

I have one of the older ones... possibly seam was to help with a two person lay. Me and the wife never had an issue but I have always hated the hammock just for me it definitely envelopes me.

Ahh, what a bummer.. I recently got an ENO DN, and I love it! I considered going back and swapping for the extra space of the Deluxe, but the DN seems big enough for us both. Its nice to not have a seam down the middle..
