    Hanging out in Texas

So a couple weeks ago me and a few buddies went out for a hang in Texas. It just has been crazy at work so just now getting it posted. It was about 75-80 in the day and I think it got down to 54 at night.

This spot already had a pit for fire ... worked out pretty good for the weekend.

The view in the morning from the campsite about 50 yards away

Our hanging spot we found ... Yep, those are underquilts still haha.

our tools of the weekend ... no worries we did not fell the tree. Dumb teenagers did since our last visit and didnt even bother using the tree, they just cut it down for no reason.

steaks on the grill at night ... kinda hard to see

Messing around with feather sticks ... not the greatest looking but only did that in about 30 seconds.

    Bag o goodies ...

great shots. Which lake is that? Nice trees. I always hang my UQ. Easier to regulate WITHOUT getting up from inside.

I mean I always hang the UQ. Then when in the hammock, I regulate by moving the TQ, the silk liner, my clothes, etc. The UQ stays, everything else moves about.
