30D digital camo ripstop

So I recently found some 1.1oz/sqyd ripstop in a digital camo pattern here:

I posted the link in the fabrics subforum also, from what I've found camo ripstop has always been on the heavier side. Now this is the actual MARPAT digital camo with the Eagle Globe and Anchor on it, good for us Jarheads on here. I want to make a DIY gathered end with it, but I have minimal DIY skills coupled with a lack of a thread injector. Would anyone in the area of Greenville SC be willing to offer up their services to just do a rolled hem on all the edges?

Magna Fabrics...68" wide 30D Marpat @$1.25 /yd....40yd minimum = ~$71 shipped.

They also have Coyote 30D.

i just recently had a mishap with my MARPAT camo, 1.1 oz hammock. It is light, not invincible! Mine ripped right in half, on top of Shortoff Mountain. I am getting ready to throw my sewing machine into overdrive and make about three hammocks. I have 1.9 oz digi camo on the way for one, and I'm going to order enough 1.1 oz to make two more (since I now know how delicate it can be.) Send it to me and I would be glad to sew some rolled hems. I put in the "knotty mods" on all four corners of the one I blew out. I'd do that too if you like them. With my sweatshop ready, a few more rolled hems is no big deal. PM me if you haven't already gotten it done

Well…crap. So much for photo updates. I tried to post some pics, but the. Electronics aren't cooperating. Don't worry, there will be a gallery for you and Sandra when all is said and done. Maybe the ethosphere will be more compliant tomorrow?

Attempt#3. The black is "his," yes? Green is "hers?" Too bad I don't know how to embroider, that would be a nice, old skool touch to get his and hers hammocks! Good thing you two know which one is which

That's her bag w your hammock in it. Her bag was harder because there was very little fabric left once I cut the piece for the hammock.
I put my hand in there for scale.

Holy cow that thing packs up small!!! Looks like it's the same size as our smaller hammocks... oh man!
