Hey guys! I have a questin about the average weight of your guises hammocks with suspension and bag added?
My DIY hammock with woopie slings two carabwaners two six foot tree hungers comes in at about 20oz I beleave. And I make my hammocks about 9.8ft and about 4.8ft wide. (I use grosgrain around the edged for extra color)

My BIAS Weight Weenie Micro is hammock 6.5 oz, plus suspension of 3.7 for a total of 10.2 oz. The bag probably adds 1/2 oz. This is my go-to hiking hammock.

My tablecloth hammock is 14.5 oz., plus 3.7 oz for suspension, so around 18.2 oz. This hammock is a loaner - I would never carry it hiking.

Grosgrain around the edge for extra color? I guess the UL bug hasn't bitten you!

If I'm reading the table at the Warbonnet site right, my XLC 1.1 DL with bug net and webbing suspension comes in at 32 oz/900 g. In the process of swapping to whoopie hook suspension, but still I'm a big bloke and I need a big hammock there will always be an associated weight penalty!

My Grand Trunk Nano with added ridgeline, tree huggers, whoopies, bugnet & stuff sack = 20 oz

The bugnet added about 11 oz to my basic set up, but in TX, you've got to have it.

My Dangerbird (10', single layer, 1.1) is supposed to come in around 23 oz.

Dang some of you get some light weight hammocks! Wow but mine being about 20oz seems about average even with the grosgrain so I'm happy with that thanks guys!
