    Yo-da-man?

    So...

I think i get it now....

looking at the tarp from the side, a rectangle tarp's end point on the ridgeline is is 90degrees to the baseline.

On a hex the baseline tie-out is set back so the ridge line end point is more like 110 degrees or 120 to the baseline.

So i guess the rectangle tarp would cause the long point tie-out of the beak to angle upwards.

Either way, i know i need one!!!

Could someone possibly post a close up picture of the ridgeline connection point.

    Thanks again.

    Matt.
    You got it

The beaks are awesome, I have 4...two sil ones and two cuben hex size, although I never get to use them...my better half always takes em

In my review thread of the Hex size I show some of the attachments, not sure if they are what you need, or close enough for you to see them, but here is a link- https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=76081

Glad I was able to help, if you have any other questions please post away and I am sure someone will do their best to help you.

    Matt.
Anytime, glad I was able to help.

Hope the pic's provided you with some better idea of what I was trying to explain, pretty hard to type and easier to see (at least for me).

Not first hand experience, but I do live in Baltimore!

Also if you are going to Mahha 2Q has signed up on the spreadsheet so you could PM him and ask him to bring one for you to see and test fit to your tarp????? Not sure if he can, but it wouldn't/couldn't hurt to ask.

Donna here...The standard sized Cuben Beak will fit the Deluxe and Ultra...but will be too big for the Standard.
