Somewhere to go in eastern Ohio?

I'll be going to Ohio in a week or so and would like to do a night or two somewhere while I'm there. I'll be in the Youngstown area near where Oh, Pa, and WV come together so it doesn't have to be in Ohio specifically. I'd prefer something within an hour or so (I'll be in Lisbon) but if it's an awesome spot I'd be willing to go further. Not sure if I'll have a shuttle so a loop would be best.

Somewhere with a fishing hole would be great if it's an out and back. I'd like to keep it under 15 miles.

There isn't really anything nearby that allows dispersed camping.. but there are numerous State Parks in Eastern Ohio.. the closest two to that area are:
    Guilford Lake State Park
    https://www.dnr.state.oh.us/parks/gu...9/Default.aspx

    and Beaver Creek State Park
    http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/parks/bea...4/Default.aspx

Both have good fishing. Both would be more car camping style.. to get into the dispersed camping areas around here you would have to head to one of the National or State Forests all of which are more than a couple of hours away from that area.

Best East Ohio hiking is in West PA

Within an hour of Lisbon is Raccoon Creek State Park. Might fit the bill.

Thanks a lot. I'll check those out. Are they hammock friendly parks? Where would be the closest place for backcountry camping?

Closest places for back country camping would be Hocking Hills/Wayne National Forest or Allegheny National in Central PA. All are about a 3 hour drive from Lisbon.

The state parks are all hammock friendly.. I would suggest asking them to let you take a cruise through of the park to find a nice site if that is what you decide to do.
