Just did not get enough hammock time in the woods so off I head to the Superior Hiking Trail today for a couple of nights. Bugs and storms and rain expected. Looking forward to maybe some fun and misery))))))))

I appreciate someone that does not let weather or insects impact decisions to go to the woods. I have never canceled a trip due to weather. I have finished some in a torrential flood and 2 feet of snow, but never wished I had not done it. That is what makes it an adventure. Have fun brother!!

I just got back from four days in Harriman in NY. Boy, the bugs seem to be getting immune to the DEET. I had to use a head net out of the hammock just to eat. Just watch the lightning. We don't need to hear about fried Shug.
