So summer is here, and I'm thinking of DIY for a light weight quilt. Maybe not light in packable weight, but light as in temperature range, maybe down to the 60s.
I was in a fabric store today and saw some fleece on sale for half price. A couple of yards of that, sandwiched between two layers of m50 should get me into the 60s, while offering some wind and bug protection for my back, I think.
Opinions? I made the synthetic KAQ here from climashield, which is good down to the 40s, but I want something a little more bare minimum for the summer, just enough to keep the breeze from sapping away my body heat, and the skeeters from poking me in the back.
