    First Hang!

Well we are only at the back of our own land and we definitely have some kinks to work out but my daughter and I are a hangin,! It's a rare cool evening here in Texas so we decided to do it. I think this is gonna be alright!

Congrats on getting out and off the ground. Getting the hammock dialed in to where you like it takes a few hangs. You're on your way. Enjoy.

Congrats on the first hang. The backyard definitely counts and is by far the best way to dial in before going out away from the safety of home.

We did walk back half a mile and get good and scratched up in briars to make it more authentic.

Didn't sleep at all but it was the critters and I was cold. Crazy weather for July in Texas. So rare I won't complain. There were two coyote packs out also. Will have to try again soon.

That stinks. Better weather will make for easier sleeping.
