Has anyone tried Stansport Reinforced Ripstop Tarps?

Just curious if anyones tried one of these tarps before.

    Link here!
They have 10x12 and 12x14 for $15 and $20, respectively, with no shipping charges.

Are they worth the money? Anyone got any actual experience with them?

They are going to be heavy and loud. If those are not concerns, go for it!

Looks just like the Wally World blue tarp I tried. Don't try using the grommets! It never ends well.

They will work until you can afford a good tarp. As mentioned before they are heavy and loud. I have a friend who has used that style for the last 4 years. He replaces it every year. He uses it in tent mode.
    They will keep you dry.

Heavy isnt really a problem since, for now, Im a car camper.
    Noisy is a problem though.

Im just trying to find a normal tarp, instead of the DIY clear hex tarp I plan to use. That way I have a second "backup tarp" as well as other options.

I want something that will last, but money is an issue so Im trying to spend frugally. Any suggestions for decent tarps for decent prices?

Any chance a mod can move this out of the Hammock Gear vendor forum and into the Weather Protection section? He might get more responses there.

Etowah makes a pretty good tarp at a fair price.

Unfortunately, I had the luck of spend 9 days under one with 9 days of rain. By the second day, I had to use ear plugs to sleep.

    Good Tarp on the cheap

    They've got Camo, and Green

I've used one of these for 6 years when side by side hanging with my hiking partner, by far the best $20-30 tarp you're gonna find IMHO
