Those things are miserable IMO.
They've got them at most of the outdoor shops and I tried one in the store about 3 years ago. Couldn't get out of it fast enough. It's almost like they managed to make a cot less comfortable. Who'd of thought that was even possible.
I do like the basic idea behind it, but there is a whole lot of work to be done before I would even consider one.
Trust nobody!
Just think if we could get those 4800 people who have purchased them to come on here!
Just me being me

Does not look comfortable but the idea of a hammock, portable folding stand that is lightweight enough to be a practical carry is attractive.
As much as I like the turtle lady, turtle dog, military mast pole/4ft sections and hand hammock stand ideas, none of them offer what this product attempts to deliver.
I say attempts because it does appear too short.
What would it take to create this kind of lightweight folding stand that could handle a tablecloth or ENO style gathered end hammock?
Is it possible?
The extension needed for the Ikea style hammock stands leave me wondering...
Solve this problem and sell a bunch of them no doubt.

I did see something interesting here though, spreader bars under the hammock.... any DIY'ers see any potential?
.... the Aardvark (earth pig)... a rather unremarkable creature whose sole claim to fame is that it is the first animal listed in the dictionary.

I'm not sure I trust the plastic used where the poles are riveted together. I has that 'cheap camp chair' look. You know, the ones that break after a few years use.
I got one like that from Harbor Freight a couple years ago. NOT comfortable at all and i am only 5'8". My grandsone loved it tho
Also it is too short to put any of my other hammocks on.
