    I borrowed some from blackbishop, but haven't had a very good chance to use them except in the yard (where they worked just fine). Then I saw the picture in the gallery of how he used them and realized I hadn't used them correctly, so on my next trip I'll really get a better feel for them. I like the concept.
    I used some the other night and they worked really well to tension the tarp and was just so easy to set up. Put the line behind the tree, take up the slack, tension and tighten.

    It seems to me that you cant go wrong with a HH hammock and JRB quilts!

    i like the double ring buckle for the hammock support so much, i'm thinking i will find an even smaller, lighter set of rings for the tarp.
    but then i would have to involve webbing some how
    I too will something make and joy in it's making
