    Locked Brummel ?

Is it advisable or necessary to use a locked Brummel on the fixed end loop of a Woopie sling? Can you just bury the end of the fixed loop end after making the loop the size you want?

you can just bury the end, but then you should sew it in place. The locked brummel replaces the need to sew the bury inplace

I've always used locked Brummel's on fixed loops for Woopie slings and Dog bones, less chance of failure…why take the risk if you don’t need to?

In case you decide to do a plain bury...here is the correct method of lock stitching.

Also worth noting the lock stitched bury seems to be the stronger option.
    YMMV
