Thats a typical CRM mistake. Instead of working like crazy to catch up with the orders, they should sit down, go through the orders and send out (standard) messages explaining the reasons for the delay and calculate delivery dates they can hold. IMO a customer prefers knowing that he/she needs to wait another 2 weeks than waiting everyday for a paket that won't come. Futher they should put a note on the order page mentioning that delays are longer than usual.

When products are great, customers will wait...

I agree, if I needed something quick and someone said turn around was 3 days and I didn't have it in time I would be upset. I am searching for a bug net for a new hammock and am deciding between this one and the BugSock. I know the BugSock is about 4 weeks out at this point

I agree with Womble. Even a generic note that they have a backlog of orders would be nice. I've been waiting two months for a no-sew kit and some loops.

One of the reasons I ordered from BIAS was one-stop shopping for everything I wanted, giving me a great deal on only one shipping charge.

Finally heard from Shane on Tuesday. Now, waiting on Brian to ship.

Well I just put in an order for a WWM on Friday, hoping to have it for a trip I'm taking Sept. 13.

I really hope they can manage to get it to me by then, fingers crossed!

Make sure they know it and I bet they come through. My experiences with them have all been great.
