I don't know about little bennett and hammocks but they do show a hanger (next to a tent) on the web page. My bigger gripe is the price --$21 plus some tax/fees if I recall correctly.
I'd rather drive up to Gathland state park and camp for free at the AT shelter (Crampton Gap) site or Washington Monument SP (or South Mountain Inn) and hike 3=4 mi and camp at Rocky Run. I can get to either one in about 40 min (I'm just below you in Montgomery Village).
The price is kinda a bummer, but I want to test out my setup for a quick overnight. It's so close if something goes wrong I can head home and sort the issues out. If I was solid on the gear I'd want to go for 2 nights and I'd definitely be up for a further drive.Originally Posted by jwright

I'm in DC, less than a mile from MoCo. I enjoy heading over to Swains Lock in Potomac, MD for some easy over nighters. Now that the weather is cooling, I'll be heading out more often during the week.
I'm planning on taking my new WB RidgeRunner for an overnighter tonight, and potentially tomorrow night, and Thursday night as well. Any fellow hangers are welcome to join, it's a great little spot.
Are there specific camp sites there? Ive never seen or heard of them, when I Googled it I only came up with a little yelp review.
