    Greylock 3 or Phoenix 40

I think I have narrowed it down to some options for UQ.

Either Greylock 3 or Phoenix 40, but I could also be talked into a Incubator 40 or Shenandoah.

    I have a Hudson River.

    Help me out forum.

Both quilts are of the same excellent quality but the Phoenix and Grey lock do have their differences. For one the suspension is different on each of them. Secondly on the Phoenix baffels run vertically and the Grey lock the baffles run horizontally. The Phoenix you can get the new Argon fabric and get it customized in various ways while the Grey lock is standard run with size and fabric bit you can add extra down to both. Ive always been partial to Hammock Gear quilts but their are just as many hangers using HG quilts as JRB quilts so it all comes down to the finer details of each quilt and which one you like better.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Flip a coin, you win either way.
I was above a Greylock III this past weekend for 3 nights; very sweet downiness.
I've got several HG quilts too. My favorite HG UQ has a cuben inner which I like.
    Hard decision I know.

Greylock 3 is three season where the Shenadoah is a summer quilt...GL3 and your HR and a piece of foam for the lower legs/feet and you will be good to 20-25*...Lot more seasonality.

    OK

Gotcha... I was thinking HR as an UQ and Shenandoah as TQ and then in summer Shenandoah as UQ and liner as TQ

So the Greylock 3 would be good for temps 25 to 70?

Thanks so much; this is so helpful.
