Hey guys I hav had this problem for a while now since I have been making my own hammocks and whatnot is that at Joan's and hancocks fabrics their ripstop nylons all feel the same accept the black ripstop nylon feels like more thick/stiff but lo the other colors feel the same accept the black. I'm not sure the diner rating, but does anyone happen to know why only the black ripstop nylon deals this way vs the other colors and what the denier raisins are?

I have bought black, navy, blue and red all from Hancock. I haven't noticed any difference. I believe it is 1.9 DWR.

When I shop a Joann's, I always bring my iphone and search Joann's site with the product ID for any bolt that I'm not sure how to identify. The website contains more information about each fabric than what's listed on the bolt of material (including the material's weight). Using this method, I was able to buy a number of 1.9oz pieces.
