3rd Annual Louisiana Fall Hang 11/07-11/10

Other than signing up on the spread sheet, is there anything else required? any kind of reservation, or do we need to somehow contact Kincaid to reserve a site? I suspect not for hangers, although not sure. If I have a ground-dwelling friend coming along, anything different for him? A request for a reserved tent site or something?

There are no reservations. A few of us will be there Thursday morning to rent sites. It will be your responsibility to find the approoriate trees : ) your ground dweller can set up on ine of our tent sites.

Can we bring our own fire wood? Some places don't allow outside wood.

They'd probably prefer you to bring in wood rather than chop. Not to mention anything on the ground is fair game and will go fast

The worst case scenario has happened, I thought I was rolling off but was re-elected to the BOD for yet another term. The installation banquet is Friday night, that's going to knock me out of the hang, once again. I need to retire...

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to attend. We just closed on a house we were selling in Arkansas and I have to have the last stuff from the estate moved out by the 9th. Y'all have a great time!

how to we know where to hang? is there a map of the area we will be able to hang?

We will have designated areas near the campsites we will be renting. Once you arrive and sign in get with SwampSloth, Granger or myself and we will indicate the area we have to hang. It will be up to the individual to find there own two trees, not to worry there will be plenty to choose from.

just finished talking my wife into coming. took me longer to get my daughters ok to bring the grandson as my wife is baby sitter when she works. this will be the first time she has been away from him since he was born. I do think lord of the chicken wings will have his better half with him also. I know I saw more. she will not me alone. tell her to come on and enjoy.
