Best knot for white sewn in ties on Equinox tarp?

I plan to practice my tarp pitching skills on a green Equinox (or is it Etowah?) tarp that I already own, however it has the white sewn in fabric ties, vs. loops. It seems most tarps I've looked at have some sort of loop already in place, whether fabric, D loop, etc.

My question, what is the best knot to tie the white ties to form a loop? Or what method (tying in a d loop or carabiner?) would you recommend? I'm have no sewing skills to speak of (yet), but I though about sewing the ties into loops.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice, I appreciate it.

I've used the double fisherman's in the past.

I personally like the siberian hitch and adjustable knots. I tried to find a Ray Mears video that teaches it but ran out of time. They work great for me.

I would connect another line to the white ties with a sheet bend..make it slippery if you want to take it off easily.
    Good luck,

square knot (not the granny!) Its simple, you know it when you see it, and its not too bad to untie. A small stick whittled down into a fid will help if need be. Sheet bend onto the loose ties is also a great idea and even easier to untie.

Thanks everyone for the guidance. I'm familiar with a sheet bend, not real proficiant, but not sure how I'm utilizing that with the two white ties off the tarp? Do I treat the ties as one line together, and my guyline is the other line?

Yes, that is, if you only need one guy line treat both ties as one, if you want two guy lines put one on each.
