    Motorcycle Camper in Michigan

    Hey all!

    A buddy of mine has been going on and on about the virtues of hammock camping for years so when I saw that woot had a deal going for a hammock with bug net for only $25 I figured I'd give it a shot.


    It came in today and here it is setup in my backyard:




    I'll use tie down straps for my suspension since I have those with me on the bike anyway:




    I guess I'm a hammock guy now:

    Ah you have my sympathy. Nothing better for a mental health day than a ride to a good hang camp.

    Just watch out with those tie down straps, they are not strictly safe for hanging as they cannot be locked down, may be a cause for slippage in the night when the temps drop.
