Few questions about hanging distance between trees.

Hello everyone, new around here and I have a few questions.
Firstly I was wondering about optimal distance between the trees of in my case
tree and post I'm hanging from ( currently 22 1/2 feet). My current problem is not the distance but the fact that my feet side can't be higher than the head end because I'm attaching at the top of the beam or 6 feet 5 inches. I can match that on the tree side. I was thinking of relocating the post I have in the ground but I need to figure out what the best distance would be first.

With the distance I'm at now, using the hammock hanging calculator I can achieve about a 20 degree angle unloaded (not sure if the angle is supposed to be unloaded or loaded that's my second question).

I'd move the post, if possible. Fifteen or sixteen feet is better. (You probably have a reason that you can't just swap ends to get the foot end higher.) The tension on your whole system is pretty high at 22.5 feet. You'll have more room for adjustment and the strain on equipment and post will be less with a closer distance.

Yeah ill move the post tomorrow, figured that would be my best bet.
I could face the other direction no problem.. but the view stinks haha the other way is much better.
I may hang it the normal direction to just lounge in the hammock and just sleep the other direction. Would solve some of my problems.
