    My DIY Under quilt

I finally finished my under quilt. I got all the supplies at thru-hiker. I went with 3" loft. 15oz of 900fp down .Originally it was gonna be a "Camp quilt" . After a few pieces of grosgrain got it "elevated".
Not that I want summer over early but I am very curious about trying this in cool/cold weather. It is suspended on a ENO DN.Also, made my first hammock today.1.9 Rip stop. 10'6"x58 finished. Very comfortable!

Thanks. My 1st project was a rip stop nylon tarp. It is nice but heavy. Then I did UQ. Actually had it finished last yr but used it as a top quilt and slept on a pad in hammock. Hammock build went pretty quick. Nothing fancy. 2 single stitch roll hems. 2 triple stitch end hems for channel. I doubt if anything is square. Not really sure if it matters all that much. Started it at 3pm was hanging in it by 5. The UQ took some time. Baffles not too bad on 1st layer. Its putting on the 2nd. layer.I used momentum fabric and its very soft/slippery. Keeping the other material out of way was a bit tricky.
