DIY gear supply hex tarp cat cuts?

Hey guys as some of you may know I have been working on my hex tarp from the DIY hear supply templet and its made now but I have troubles sowing the car cuts like they sewed just fine but they seemed to get like random wrinkles of fabric and folds in a lot of places on the cat cuts I noticed after I was finished sowing them. How do people sow the cat cuts like perfectly with out the fabric getting wrinkles and folds? Tarps alright just the sowed in wrinkles sort of annoy me (cat cuts)

I started to get wrinkles but I would just adjust how much I had the fabric rolled over as a went and it took care of the problem for me.

Cut small slits on the edge of the curves. Allows fabric to "fold" without the wrinkles. Cuts then get rolled into hem.

About a 1/4" long cuts along the curve spread as needed to get the curve to lay out flat enough to not pull out when sewing. If you look through the DIY tarp threads there is a couple of times it is talked about and the technique name. sorry not that great at sewing yet but have been doing research and ran across it.

Quick google search on sewing curves found this. http://www.sew4home.com/tips-resourc...cessful-curves
