    Hello

New to this site and Hammocks. I have made a few posts on here. I bought a Mosquito net version Yukon Hammock off Woot. It is too short for what I want to do but it allowed me to learn how to hang a hammock. It also let me know that I can comfortably sleep in a hammock. I am a side sleeper and the hammock was great for that.

I am going to use it for back pack elk hunting in September. I have been trying to decide what I am gonna get for a real hammock. Probably going to go WarBooett BB 1.1 double or I may go a little cheaper initially and get a HH Explorer deluxe to start with.

So far I have gleened alot of good info from here, Thanks, Scott

    Welcome,

Either of those hammocks will serve you well. Get a good tarp with doors and a yetti 3 season underquilt. Then do a search for "shug" and check out his videos. An extremely entertaining fella with sound advice.
Take this soul, stranded in some skin and bones, take this soul and make it sing.
