    tarps???

Hey everyone, im new here, and I think this might be my 1st thread, but anywho, I just very recently bought my first hammock, last week to be more acurate... a skeeter beeter pro, but due to it being 10 feet six inches long, im having trouble finding a tarp big enough to cover it. Could anyone point me in the right direction. Im looking for a good tarp, not a 5 dollar cheapy blue tarp, thanks for any and all suggestions

If money is no issue then a good ultralight with lots of room would be the Winter Palace cuben fiber tarp. For the rest of us, there is still SilNylon There are quite a few that would fit you. I like the Superfly or Big Mamajamba from Warbonnet Outdoors for large tarps.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

I think I did look at the supafly tarp, and if im not mistaken... its only 11 feet long... will 3 inches of over hang on each end work? I'll take a look at the other you mentioned, thank you for your help

Your hammock shouldn't be hung straight....there is sag, usually some where around 83ish% of the length of your hammock, so an 11' tarp should work just fine. Also, I really love wilderness logics tarps.

Mammajamba comes in a 11-footer, and comes with a door-kit option for now or to order later.
    just bought one.

I saw that, but like the idea of the built in doors like the superfly, thanks. Im realizing theres so much to learn with all the different ways to hang the hammock and different style tarps and all the accessories that can be added.

Built in doors are nice, but you'll have to carry your winter set up year round.

You can make or have them made to fit any tarp. Gives you the option of taking one set or two, or none at all.
