I don't have a lightweight one. I do have a very old (read: my parents are 60 and they used it in their 30's) 2 man tent that I could potentially bring along. It hasn't been used in awhile....

Captn and two will be there Saturday. I paid for a site for tonight, so I hope someone makes use of it. I just got off a plane so I can't make it before noonish or so ... I will be bringing Pam's famous sugar cookies!

Thanks for all that came out and made this a heck of a weekend... Lots of good times and new friends made on my end... And I'm sure everyone else had the same experience...

Every year it just keeps getting better. A big thanks to UncleMJM for hosting our annual Texas Fall Hang and breakfast, OldGringo for the firewood and coffee, Alan for the release of the fire curse, and everyone else that had a helping hand. It's always a good time with old friends. And I'd like to send a shout out to all the first timers this year. You are in part why we have these events. To explore and go beyond where no hammocker has gone before...well, we seem to keep coming back to Fairfield, TX but that's ok. As usual, I had a great time. Max says, "Woof". And I'll see you at the next tree.
