If you have reserved a site, you are probably aware that they are first come first serve per park policy. It may be possible to get you close to where you want though. Send me a PM with your name and your 2 or 3 site preferences and I'll put in a request.

If you are at one of the sites I have reserved and we've already talked about it, no worries, you are covered.

If you have not reserved a site yet, there are several folks willing to share and it's better to figure that out in advance rather than when you pull in so I encourage you to contact one another.

Not number 4 unless you want ultimate privacy... Like camping 150 feet away from campsite and a few hundred yards from everyone else...

No preference? No worries as all of the sites are in relatively close proximity and most accommodate hammocks very well.

You are correct that sites are assigned at check in, however, as a group we may make a request. We will be in the Springfield area, sites 1-36.

Precisely the reason to consider it in advance. Some prefer privacy with a short walk to the main group and others like to be right in the thick of all the activities.
