DFW might be the best bet, but Fairfield is roughly half way between Dallas and Houston.

Just a thought. Last year I brought a few books on various subjects and since then have added a few more to my collection. Found one of the old Foxfire books, books on knots, whittling, of course the American Boy's handy book and a few others. I'm not gonna do a book swap (Mine, darnya... MINE!

) but I know I'm an avid reader and maybe someone else might enjoy bringing a book or two or want to see something in my collection?

Since this will be my first group hang, I'd love to participate in the gear swap or give-away. In order to bring something that might be appropriate, I thought I'd just find out what some of the favorite items were from last year? I know that there will be forum members but also family members and kids....anything go over especially well with them?

Just curious.

I am a tentative. Gotta figure out transportation logistics. But if anyone from the Dallas area is going and can give a North Texas Redneck a hump in might do it. Would also be pending space for 2 midgets...err runts.....errr little non adult people.

Hey folks, I know this guy. He's not an axe murderer or anything. His kids are well behaved and they are meeting people at the Park who are letting them use all the stuff they need except for a few things so there's not all that much to pack.
