    what would you do?

    so I am using my Double nest for early season hunting trips and was wondering what some of you guys would do or have done if you were to find yourself above the tree line...

    Maybe find some rock outcroppings you could use. Just be real careful. Or maybe you would be better served with a 1 man tent setup like the one below instead. I almost went this route especially for the money but decided to go with the hammocks when I got offered a sweet deal on a WBBB 1.1 Double.

    Go to ground & use the tarp as a cover. I also carry a military gortex bivy sack & pad along just in case. But, if possible, I'd head back down to the trees. Not going to find much above the tree line except goats.
