Lighter Bug Net for a TLG Single?

Well I got bit by the hammock bug late last year mostly for recreational usage but the more we use our hammocks the more I see some overnighters in them. I currently have a TLG Single and a TLG Bug Net but wondering if there is a lighter option to the TLG Bug Net which is around a Pound. Seems as if it has a ton of extra material and I may get myself a different one and let the kiddo have this one for his hammock for the few times it gets setup. I am also going to be looking at a lighter tarp as well down the road but want to upgrade the bug net first. Not really interested in DIY or modding the current one as I have a couple other hammocks it can be used on.

    My current setup:

    TLG Single
    Arrowhead Cinch Buckle Kit
    Dynaglide Adjustable Ridgeline

    TLG Bug Net

    TLG V9 Tarp
    Arrowhead 'Simple Carabiner' Ridgeline
    Arrowhead Guy Lines

Thoughts and ideas I have been browsing around here for a few days reading threads but direct thoughts are nice.

Buginator (8.8 oz or a little more than 1/2 a pound) or NANO (7 oz) version from BIAS:

Warbonnet makes a nice travel net at 7.5 oz

Wilderness Logics (i own this one) is also very nice at 10.5oz

I got the WL because it had a longer RL than the Warbonnet. I like the buginator but WL had a bottom so I could throw socks or my gloves or buff down there (little extra storage is nice). With the size of the TLG (i have an 11' hammock) any of the above will do great for you and all are much less than a pound. good luck.

Tarp wise I love my Toxaway from AHE and my Big Daddy from WL. you can also get a tadpole for $85 plus some dutchware and stuff for guylines for another $35 or get some more space with the TOX for an extra $15.

Anyone have thoughts on this BugSock? This may be the perfect ticket once I play around some once I get my ridgeline all figured out.

Though I'm not sure whether I want black or white netting.

Once I get to the Tarp upgrades I will probably have Paul make me a Grey Toxaway.

the only reason i didn't mention the sock is that you have to reach up to your end channel to cinch it shut. I thought the others bugnets were easier to get in and out of but I will say Randy at Dream Hammocks does awesome work; I have a Roaming Gnome at is by far the best hammock I have ever owned

Light reflects off of white netting causing a glare making it harder to see out of. Black netting is always my first choice as it is the easiest to see out of.

So after much looking I really like the BugSock but really wanted white netting. So following the BugSock v3.1 I took cut up my TLG Bug Screen and got started. Got the foot end all done and now just need to finalize the ridgeline length before I finish the whole thing up. After a small bit of testing I really like the way this is turning out I will just need to make a new stuff sack for my hammock one of these days.
