Gotcha... Seems I missed some of the conversation. I would still truck that bad boy to the shop for some well deserved TLC. It's a keeper if the parts can be replaced.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I imagine Ill end up taking it in to someone eventually. Id like to get it usable for now just so I can see how it does and go from there. It runs quite good. Heck, who knows, it may sew like a dream or it may not even be serviceable. Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I honestly hadnt even thought of checking to see if the screws on the machine were standard or metric. Duh.

Thank you, I have downloaded it. Luckily I also have the original manual.

Also, the thread guide I ordered came it today and it looks like its a match. If not a perfect match It looks like itll definitely work.Good news!

Looks like I'm in business ! I sent a quick email to the guys @ sew4less who I bought the thread guide from to see if they had a screw or knew of one that would fit the guide/ my machine. They emailed me back saying they didnt carry a specific screw that fit it but they would send me a few from "old stock". They sent me around 10 screws one of which fit perfectly! Now I can thread it up and see how it does.
