    Ordered a Superfly today!

Got nervous about relying on my DIY shower liner tarp for an upcoming multi-day Shenandoah canoe trip so I pulled the trigger on a new Superfly. I'm sure I'll have nothing but praises to sing after using it. Now it's time to finish the DIY bugnet tomorrow. Trip report to come...

Congrats - you should be very happy with a tarp that can handle any weather thrown at it.

    Superfly

I am lucky to have a few tarps to choose from, but when the weather turns bad, it's the tarp I'm most thankful to have brought with me. It is confidence inspiring.

Enjoy the tarp, Silvrsurfr is right; it can handle just about anything, and I can't wait to use mine in some real weather. Although, I suppose I will have to leave CA to find some real weather
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Be sure to weather seal the pullouts. With a ridgerunner, the corners of the hammock are very close to being under the pullouts, so if you have heavy rain you will get drips on your hammy.

What stretch of the Shenandoah are you doing? I love floating it, we usually just do an overnighter. We put in Front Royal, make camp on an island 12 miles down, then take out Rt 7 the next day. T-Storms will pop up quick in that region. I have spent two separate summer nights in crazy storms. Having that tarp should give you a good piece of mind.
