OHT Thru Hike w/ a Warbonnet Blackbird

Ozark Highlands Trail (OHT), Arkansas, USA.

Here's a link to the Trip Report. If you are a member of BackpackingArkansas (BPA) forum it is the same report. Completed the OHT in twelve days with the Warbonnet Blackbird, which was a nice fit for this trail hanging above the PI and staying cool with warmer June temps. Rained the first two days and the tarp did it's job. The last few days I didn't even use the tarp, which was nice and made breaking camp a breeze. The best part of every day was getting in to the hammock!

Here's a short (90 sec) video of the trek complete with some black bear footage.

Was the snake able to swallow that whole frog?

They were between 20 and 30 yards away. I rounded a switchback and there they were. I had to drop down the mountain to navigate around them.

Lesspayne - I didn't stick around and watch the snake finish off the frog. That was in Richland Creek.
