he fails to mention trivial little details such as, lack of any decent clothing
or insulation. Ice in that mans veins I tell you. Thats extreme.

I also gotta second Shug on the opposite side of the weather spectrum. I will never be
one of those people that take a tropical vacation, or trek through the arid deserts of
the south. The heat just kills me. I work outside exposed to the elements for 8 months
out of 12, and on those rare days when the mercury climbs into the 90's or hits triple
digits I am drowing in an ocean of sweat, dizzy, disoriented, and sometimes racked with
bouts of vomitting. Its a miserable way to get through your work day. I am always
amazed and impressed by the stories I read of hangers that actually hike and burn
up calories trekking through that kind of heat and climate.

I would put myself on the border of extreme when it comes to cold weather. I've been at recorded temps of -14F and winds from 10-20ish mph. I think I can call myself an extreme cold weather hanger, but I don't hike in it like those two do. But, I am going to be building myself a pulk this summer so next year I intend on joining the ranks.

Better go get another hammock neo, somebody sold me their DD this morning.

Thanks for calling me extreme .... but I have no choice up here if I want to go backpacking. For me extreme would be hanging in 110º heat with no wind and abundant sunshine!!!!!! Gaaahhhh, give me shade, wind and cold!
