    Iowan here...

Started out as recreational users and we are moving into more full time users and abusers. Started out with a pair of TLG Hammocks then added Bug Screens and Tarps. After chatting with Paul over at AHE, I met him through a Tenkara site, I made some upgrades on our TLG hammocks. Out with the ropes and in with some cinch buckle kits, yeah I know Whoopies would save a bit more weight, but simple adjustability is good especially for my wife.

Last night I finished hacking up my TLG Bug Net and turned it into a BugSock and after a night outside I really like it. May have to make a cleaner version later but for now this one is almost perfect need some better cinch cord as I only had some paracord on hand.

Showed the wife the DIY JCP Puffer jacket UQ and she is all gung ho on making some so a couple jackets en route and she can sew to her hearts content.

Looks like we will be a hanging family as the 4 yr old loves to hang as well...

Hope to meet some other Iowan hangers at somepoint if there are any here could be fun.

Dubuque here. Spend lots of time at hide away trout streams and many have plenty of hammock area as well.

I am also from Omaha, NE. Didn't think I would find another. Have you done Scouting? I did 14 years. Maybe we know each other.

I always think faster than I can think. I make a lot of typos that way.

Cool! Seems we have the same hobbies. Im probably going to sell my tanks too, just dont want to spend my free time on them anymore. It was alot of fun learning about and establishing them though.

Scouts..yes. But not around here. Always looking for a hammock/backpack partner if interested.
