    Smile Norway | 2013 July | 10-day hike

Please find hereunder a trip report of a 10-day hike in Norway together with my son. We enjoyed the impressive scenery of this country. Very often the terrain forced us to camp on the ground. Please enjoy the vid.

Wow, nice vid. What's your sons age ?

I discovered Norway 2 months ago, such a beautiful country. I liked the open space and distances between hamlets. Its true that the tree-line is quite low and you often get wet peat grounds.

What a great video, I'm very impressed on the lightweight packs you carried for a ten day hike!

Nice video, although the houses and people dancing makes me slightly homesick.. It's very similar to where I'm from. Looks like you were treated to some nice Scandinavian summer weather too! :-)

@ Womble, great you discovered Norway recently! My sons age is 9.
@ FlyingFox, thanks! And yes, we enjoy a hike so much more with less weight
@ mbiraman, indeed, I cherish the memory. Thanks (again).
@ nothermark, I appreciate your comment!
@ ramjet, Norway is "powered by nature". It's great to introduce such a beautiful country to your kids. Shalom.
@ TallPaul, with replies like yours sharing a vid is a pleasure
@ KOm4, nice to have your roots in such a place. And we're very lucky with the weather. Even in full sun temperatures don't rise above 68F. No musquitos. Lovely weather to hike.
    @ KMACK, thanks you!
