    Cheap scale?

I had a really nice postal scale, that my 7 year old thought would be nice to weigh herself on needless to say, I have no more scale.

I've got 5 1 gallon ziplocs full of harvested down, and another 4 jackets to harvest from (I intend on selling the down, turns out said daughter is very allergic to feathers / down) but I have no way to weigh it.

Anyone know where to pick up a cheap accurate scale for using on down? I tried the post office, figuring they'd give me a weight.. but the &%*% at mine said I need a shipping address before he'll weigh it.

    Thanks

Try a search for a kitchen or food scale. Most are a few lbs max and <1oz resolution. The cheap kitchen scales are about $10.

I bought a cheap one off Amazon for $10. Weights to the tenth of an ounce.

If you just need to weigh the down I would take it (in ziplocks) to the grocery store and use the produce scale. But if you want a new scale for yourself, I have one from Walmart that measures from grams on up. Cost about $20. It's the one with the glass top.
