    Did the Split Rock Loop this weekend, just to check out the campsites. Nice and scenic trail, nice campsites but not very private, lots of traffic.

    If you have a bike I recommend stashing it in the woods where you plan to finish and then you can just bike back along the road. I usually leave my bike at the south finish point and drive to the north starting point of my trip and hike south to the bike. It's really nice because you're not on anyone else's schedule.
