    That very well might be...but I've seen other large, straight-edged tarps have the same tightness issues, too. I just don't think a large tarp can get completely tight without taking advantage of some strategic geometry or LOTS of tie-outs. But then again I'm biased

    well... you can't play the drums on it like you can w/ the black cat tarp
    but it's still a pretty nice looking tarp when properly pitched.

    It's just that a nice taut pitch is so easy with a cat tarp. Getting a wrinkle-free pitch with a straight-edged tarp is pretty time-consuming unless you have a perfect site.
