I had to rewind it to see if you said it and you did... “I’m out of my cage.” I thought it looked like a trail in the background of your hammock, and it was - that’s a bit funny! Phillipsart is the master muffin cooker, he cooks them to perfection, so apart from more oil, he might have a couple of handy cooking tips to share. You got to walk under a waterfall, and a fast flowing, fine looking, waterfall it was too. I was cheering you on, something like, GO, GO, GO, GO! It was great to see you in action, putting a notch on your belt! Bushwhacking is great! That sure is a super nice group hang spot! Nice clean ground too. I got the impression you really, REALLY enjoyed that hike. LOTS of interesting things to see and do. Thanks for the extra great video, MedicineMan!

Hi, I thoroughly enjoyed your trip report. I'm going to watch it again. That is one cool area to hike. reminds me a lot of where I live. with the waterfalls and the pine Forrest.

That Dry Baking kit is awesome. A bit more oil on the sides and try some Baking Paper at the base of the baking pot, I think you call it parchment paper.

Leave the Muffin/Cake in the baking pot for a few minutes before removing from the pot. It should than just slide right out in one piece.

The blueberry muffins I baked takes apx 40 minutes, I tried some Chocolate Chip Muffins yesterday and a few cakes through the week and they taken 30 minutes to bake using one ounce of metho in my Featherfire Stove using the same baking kit.

I'm glad you got to walk behind a waterfall, it's a great experience to walk behind a waterfall.

In regards to the spacer use a egg ring instead.

As always thanks to everybody for the kind words. It was an incredible trip and as mentioned for many reasons.
One need not bushwack in Panthertown, just stick to the main trails listed by the forestry service, but there are many many trails not listed that get you to areas that give solitude and even more waterfalls.
PhillipStart--egg ring? I'll have to google and see what it is.
MM03-thanks, coming from a namesake I'd want kind words
DaddyDaddy on the preaching skit I think Bufallo missed his calling. I've got one more song he let me record when he's on the acoustic fiddle and more thought out. The last song he did on this vid was just grab and go-I'll put it on the next trip vid which looks promising to be the Middle Prong Wilderness.
Emcee-did you see the LBL planning thread? Would be nice to see you in a kayak with us.
Bill, our muffin paled compared to PhllipStart's but it was done throughout and not a crumb wasted....I promise to remember flour or a coffee filter next time.

I hated to see it end, but I'm looking forward to Middle Prong now!

    Egg ring:
I was wondering if you called them egg rings in the states.

We use egg rings for frying eggs. It makes a nice round fried egg.

MM, another good video. I haven't been to Panthertown Valley since 2004..dang that is a long time ago. It was during the summer and Burrell Falls is a great place to slide down into the pool.

Thanks for bringing back a lot of memories

Thanks for the video, MM. I loved it. With Panthertown so close, caves to explore there, and the beautiful vistas and music with which you choose to represent it, I've decided I'll have to go.

Too cool, loved how BB joined you guys and hammed it up. Fiddle player, now thats a skill. Love Alpacas, would have some if only I could live in the country. Just imagine, grams wouldn't matter, let the Alpaca haul it. Thanks for sharing!
