I've seen what Gumbo and Timberr load into a little Jeep Liberty and here I am with a 4 door F250 and wondering if it will all fit. Still running around tomorrow bananas, Sprites & cake mixes for cobblers and the Bananas Fosters Upside Down Cake. Restock the tobacco. Going to forget something even with 2 list.

We gave up trying to get more gear on El Jeep.
We're bringing a trailer this year. hmm...
When do we start needing less gear instead of more?

I have not set a time yet. I know that others may want to do some of the hikes and kayak trips some this being only my secound hike am playing it by ear. I will be around the main area at least on Friday trying to get to know people and will try to get a time set and post a note around there to let people know. If you you catch me around anytime just ask and I can bring out the stones. It will be a good time and hopfully all will learn a little something. See you there.

Well the trailer is loaded and the dogs are getting excited, they know when they get to come.

I will be leaving in about an hour to so that I can be on hand for the delivery and payment of the firewood and get myself into a general state of readiness for a good time with good people.

Two weeks ago my son and I ran into a guy camping in a hammock in the Arbuckle Track - his user name is TopHat. After much discussion he suggested this forum. Now we are very interested to attend the event coming up. Not sure if we will stay overnight. Is there a schedule of events? What is the best day for newbies to come and sight-see?

The meals and activities spreadsheet is here. The day that the most folks will be there is likely Saturday. Any day, though, would be pretty good to get around the campfire and meet folks to talk about hammocks.
