    My DIY no-sew PLUQ

Had a Pl already modified for a completely unrelated project.

Ran bungee through grommets along both long edges, gathered at both ends to a single keychain biner. Then ran bungee through both end hems to bunch it up snug around the hammock. Works like a charm! Cant wait to buy a few more off ebay and improve on it a little bit.

Had to enlist my three year old to weight the hammock to keep it from whipping around in the wind, lol. Any thoughts or comments are welcome...

(My first attempt, so be kind...)

These things are awesome. I've got a few that I made and I absolutely love 'em. Looks like it turned out well.

I've also got a couple that I cut in half and they make a great summer underquilts good to about 50 degrees or so.

We all sleep a bit different, but I'd suspect you to be good to the mid 40s with just the doubled up liner. You could add some reflectix or insultex between the layers and get quite a bit lower.

Where did you find the "anti-gravity" p.l.??
I can only imagine if the p.l. can lift a fifty pound child, it should make your pack float??

    Nice work on the PLUQ.

Happened to find this one at my local surplus. Its Marine MARPAT on one side and flat dark earth on the other.
