Is this the one where wax drips out the bottom,
and the candle eventually drops out also?
I've had neither problem with a UCO doing such things. The candle holder locks in with bayonet tabs and the candle shouldn't drip at all if you use the UCO brand replacements.
Perhaps your experienced were with a copy? I have seen the candle melt inside the feed tube if left in a hot car. Even that didn't cause it to leak, but it wouldn't feed properly--- there is a spring that keeps the candle at the top to burn properly.
I don't appreciate the tone comments. This is a quality product that is currently in production and in good working order.
Just to clarify I have 3 just like this and have had no such problems,NO DRIPS and NO CANDLE FALLING OUT guess that all could be operator error!
That is a good deal on that lantern if I did not already have 3 I would be on it! One of my favorite pieces of gear
