Have checked this site out before several times and thought it was time to join. Thinking about trying the hammock camping but not sure where to start. Glad to see a lot of members from Missouri.

Hi there,

I am new too. I learned a ton from Shug videos on you tube. After years of being a ground dweller, I am sold on hammockin. I Know its pretty early for me to speak with any authority on the matter...but after my few hammockin trrial runs and the difference in comfort experienced (fun too)- I believe your headed down the right path! Howdy!

Welcome,im just north of you by about an hour drive.

I like to hike the katy trail every once in a while,young crowd makes me feel young again lol.
Pm me if you would like a close up at the ridge runner or speer type hammocks.
Would give me an excuse for a day hike.

Thanks for the welcome....Getting ready for a camping trip with the family to Johnson Shut Ins but as soon as I get back it will be hammock research time.
