    DWR? Means durable water repellent?

I'm confused when I see this stuff on ripstop nylons when it says in caps "DWR"
Durable water repellent I'm assuming? And if thesis correct that means its not PU coated and its not sil nylon right? Just un treated ripstop nylon? Because it says "60 inch width, 70 Denier DWR Durable Water Repellent 1.9 ounces a square yard Nylon Ripstop First"
And it also says 1.9oz/ square yard and that's the weight of untreated 70d right?
If someone could answer this for me before I order this would be perfect that's guys!!!

Right, DWR is neither PU coated nor sil-nylon, it's just a little coating to help the water bead up, its breathable etc., so technically it's not untreated, its just not treated to the point it's waterproof and unbreathable.
    Good luck,

Alrighty that's perfectly fine then it seems like I won't feel any coating using it for a hammock then right?

I don't see much point in using a DWR product to make a hammock. Especially if you are using a full length underquilt.
It does make sense to use a silnylon to make an underquilt protector or the bottom half of a hammock sock.
The road to success is always under construction.
