Lordy! am I doin this right? never been on a forum before.

at the moment I'm "hangin" solo in So.Cal and would love to find some friends for shenanigans and group hangs.

Part of the reason I got inspired to go ultra light is because I'm planning a record climb up Mt. Whitney on my Stilts.
then I discovered Hammocks.. and have focused my recreating in the back yard and to places with trees.
But...
I look forward to any tips or advice from folks who've taken their hammocks above the tree line? I'm gonna start pokin my nose around here to see what I can learn. Feel free to say HI!

hey! welcome. where abouts in LA are you? I'm pretty new here as well, but I'm over in Chino Hills. I'm also planning doing Whitney in September, but using my regular feet. Do you have any pics of these stilts? I'm intrigued.
