    17 miles, 5800 feet of ups. Nice area for hammocks in general. Lots of trees, although in a lot of places the vegetation is too thick for anything. Someone really needs to go in there with a weed whacker.

    Great trip report and pictures. I think with that heat I would have been cooling off in the creeks. Thanks for the topo info another hike to plan now.

    Thanks for this. Brevard is my birthplace.
    I lived here for five or six years and remember
    running all over the forests. Sad that we ever left.
    We still have some pristine land, about 14 acres
    with nothing on it, and I have dreams of building
    something on it. I just love this area. Thanks for
    the memories. Great report

    Looks like a nice trip. First thing I thought of was how much I'd enjoy stopping at the Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard for an icy cold brew after the hike.
