Yes, sorry. It's nylon lighter than taffeta, though. Definitely doesn't feel like sil. I was trying to describe and not paying enough attention.

I think Lori meant Ripstop compared to taffeta.

I will also agree with you on that though lori....the ripstop feel way better than the taffeta that my claytor is made of....more of a silk feel whereas the taffeta feels like a really stretched out low thread count sheet.

Thanks Lori for the response, you have made things pretty clear with your good descriptions. Cannibal, that is very kind of you to offer. If I were able to make the AZ hang (its killing me that I cant) I might take you up on it. However I appreciate your offer. That is very very kind of you. I am amazed at how friendly people on this forum are. I think this thread has been helpful to me, and hopefully to others. The subtle differences between the hammocks are starting to show the benefits of the BB over others such as the ENO and HH.

About a year ago I almost bought a HH on advice from other users. This was before I knew of this forum and am glad I held off of that purchase. I have since ordered a BB and should have it in a week or two.

After reading these posts I can't wait to set it up in the yard and spend a night. I think I may have spent my last night on the ground.

Even a HH is better than sleeping on the ground!

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

You will also get a level of service that Hennessy ( I know from experience. ), and many other companies only dream about with Brandon at Warbonnet. I have had tons of other hammocks. I will never buy another Hennessy product due to their customer (no) service.

    Cheers,
    Doc
