Took a litte time and did a quick solo backpacking trip in the Sawtooths to check out some of the trail and lakes we are anticipating hiking to on the 4th Idaho hang coming up next month.
I decided to shoot some video and put it together to show the area a little bit.

That was well done and it definitely looks like a great place. Really liked when the deer walked behind you while you were setting up for your meal. Thanks for sharing.

That deer was just hanging out all day Saturday. Saw him 4 or 5 times thought the day just hanging out....One time while I was filling water bottles in the lake he came up behind me and when I stood up he jumped and ran off about 10 feet.Originally Posted by Trail Runner

Paul's getting stalked by a dear. Might want to take your deer repellent that or a bigger grill for some deer loins and steaks.

What are you doing to attract the deer? It seems like every trip the deer visited your hammock too. Are you packing in salt pucks???

I thought about jumping him Craig, but with the fire ban it would have been slow cooking him with just a few ounces of alcohol.
