Hello from Northern California everybody,
I’m new to the forum and new to hammock camping. I have done a lot of backpacking and ground camping, but never hammock camping. I was talking to a friend (bicycling buddy that I have never camped with) and told him I was thinking about getting a hammock (an ENO) and try my hand at camping with it.
To make a long story short, he sold me his barely used Clark NX-200; he has a different hammock that he uses more (I had no idea he even camped). It was a little more than the ENO I was looking at, but it sure is nice. Now, I just have to use it.
Funny, I have been backpacking all over Northern California, but apparently I have never paid any attention to tree diameter or spacing. I hope I don’t have a hard time finding suitable trees.
Anyway, thanks for having in the forum.
